Getting your installation ready for inspection

Before the inspection body comes round, Ahmed checks the whole electrical installation and brings everything into line with the AREI. That way you improve the chances of a positive inspection and avoid unnecessary costs for a re-inspection. He takes care of, among other things:

• Checking the consumer unit, circuit breakers and RCDs.
• Checking the earthing and the earth resistance.
• A clear and clearly labelled consumer unit.
• Drawing up or updating the single-line and layout diagrams.
• Resolving any shortcomings before the inspection.

Repairs after a failed inspection

Have you received a negative inspection report? No problem. Give the report to Ahmed and he will go through all the remarks with you. All identified non-conformities are then rectified in accordance with the AREI, so that your installation can be submitted again for a re-inspection. AB-Electro helps you with:

The role of the electrician and the accredited inspection body

Ahmed makes sure your electrical installation is fully compliant and ready for inspection. The accredited inspection body then carries out an independent check and issues the official inspection report.
